If a power outage occurs in your home or business, the most common reasons are:
- In homes, the supply outage may be due to a consumption greater than the contracted power that activates the limiter inside the meter and cuts off the supply. - Another reason could be a cut due to a short circuit that has activated the protection in the inner box and triggers the automatic/differential. Obviously, a qualified technician must repair the problem as soon as possible.
- It is also possible that a supply outage may occur due to repairs in the distributor area or line maintenance. The distribution company in your area must have notified of the outage and its timing.
- If we pay the corresponding invoice, the cut-off may be ordered by the electrical company that has been contracted in the event of non-payment. In this case, contact the company, find out the amount, pay it and they will give the order to reconnect the electricity supply.
- It can also be due to a meter breakdown, a breakdown outside your installation, etc... but they tend to be less frequent.
